| FUNDAMENTAL (PL1) |
You have to start before you can finish! |
The PL1 program is instrumental towards developing the young athlete's motor skills. In this stage of training the focus is on fun but with a purpose. Benefits include learning correct movement patterns that improve coordination, balance, body awareness, core stability and functional mobility. PL1 is grounded in the science and real world training methods that make training safe, fun and productive. This program sets the stage for future athletic development by introducing running, jumping, squatting, pushing, pulling, throwing, kicking and body weight training. Athletes exposed to this program will eliminate years of poor biomechanical issues commonly seen in middle, high school and even collegiate athletes. These sessions place a strong emphasis on confidence building by acquiring fundamental athletic skills in a progressive approach.
We can assign your child to a group or you can get a group of friends together. Your child will get a head start on fundamentals from expert coaches thus avoiding many mistakes that hinder their progress. |
| PERFORMANCE LEVEL 2 (PL2) |
You are only as strong as your weakest link! |
The PL2 program focuses on advancing athletic movements with consideration of the physical and mental changes occurring in this age group. Weightlifting technique is introduced and the key movements that are essential to speed and agility are emphasized. Athletes are also introduced towards more character building traits necessary for athletic development (work ethic, record keeping). Athletes will be exposed to more complex/explosive movements using a variety of training techniques that maximize movement efficiency and minimize injury. Our state of the art equipment and the way we use it under intense supervision provides the athlete with unmatched training results. This program can leapfrog an athlete from that awkward growth stage of poor coordination, decreased balance and weakness to a young athlete entering high school with a solid foundation and confidence. |
| PERFORMANCE LEVEL 3 (PL3) |
Winners are born but champions are made! |
The PL3 program fine-tunes the athlete's current skill set acquired from previous training. The primary objectives of this level are to improve speed, explosiveness, strength and mental toughness while reducing the risk of injury and overcoming weak links that inhibit performance. This program reinforces the importance of a correctly structured and supervised weightlifting plan while continuing to perfect running, agility and jumping mechanics. Flexibility, nutrition, muscle and joint work, continuous coaching and work ethic paves the way for the athlete to maximize their potential. When tailored to collegiate and professional level athletes needing an edge in their training regimen, this program focuses on high intensity training sessions geared towards power and speed development with an emphasis on injury prevention. This program can replace or be a valuable addition to a high school or collegiate training program. The athletes will receive advanced instruction in weightlifting techniques, running and jumping mechanics with insider tips for improving footwork and combine testing. |
